Dipl.-Phys. Florian Weiser

has been a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne since November 2013. In parallel, he has been a research associate at ewi ER&S since June 2015. Previously, he studied physics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a focus on data analysis and computer utilization. Mr Weiser wrote his diploma thesis on the "Search for Double Higgs Boson Production with the CMS Detector at the LHC". As a research associate, Mr Weiser deals primarily with the modelling of energy markets and electricity grids.
