Philipp Theile is a Project Lead at the EWI. In research and consulting projects for public and industrial clients, Philipp Theile has identified investment needs for the energy system transition, evaluated integrated hydrogen production facilities, modeled the effects of the Building Energy Act on heating investments in Germany, and examined the interactions between regional and national climate targets. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Cologne, focusing on energy demand. Before joining EWI, Philipp Theile studied industrial engineering with a focus on electrical power engineering at RWTH Aachen University, the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm (Sweden) and Leibniz University Hannover.
