Dr. Johanna Fuhrmann-Bocklet has been a manager at the EWI since 2022. Her tasks include the acquisition, management and implementation of projects for clients from the public sector and industry. In particular, she deals with the challenges of the heat transition, the effectiveness of CO2 pricing and the decarbonization of the power sector. Before joining the EWI, Johanna Fuhrmann-Bocklet completed her PhD on European emissions trading at the University of Cologne and worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Energy Economics. Prior to that, she studied Resource Economics at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks (USA) and Political Economy at the Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg.
