2. Categories of Personal Data, Their Collection, Storage and Type, and Purpose of Processing

When you contact us, we collect the following information from you:

  • First name, last name
  • E-mail address
  • Institution

The processing is carried out at your request and is in accordance with Art. 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR to fulfill the purpose of the contract – here: Newsletter dispatch – or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without the information of these data, the execution would not be possible.

The data collected by us will be stored until the end of the statutory retention periods (usually 10 years for booking and other vouchers) and then deleted, unless according to Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR due to tax and commercial storage and documentation obligations (from German HGB, StGB or AO) longer storage obligations are to be applied or you have consented to a storage going beyond Art. 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

3. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

A transmission of the above-mentioned data only takes place for the above-mentioned purposes. Your data will only be passed on to third parties on the basis of the above-mentioned legal bases.

4. Your Data Subjects Rights

As an affected party according to GDPR, you have rights, which are shown to you in the following paragraph.

  • Correction of incorrect personal data concerning you (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • Deletion of personal data (Art. 17 GDPR);
  • Restriction of the processing of personal data (Art. 18 GDPR);
  • Opposition to the processing of personal data (Art. 21 GDPR).
  • To revoke your consent to us at any time. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR).

  • Right to complain to a supervisory authority, you have the right to contact the competent supervisory authority for data protection if you consider that the processing of your personal data is not lawful. (Art. 77 GDPR)

5. Opposition to the Processing

Insofar as your personal data have been collected on the basis of legitimate interests of the person responsible (Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR), you have the right to object to the processing.
