Maximilian Walde has been a Research Associate at the EWI since 2023 and a doctoral student at the University of Cologne. His research focuses on future energy commodities, sector coupling and the heating sector in particular. Methodologically, he is engaged in the modeling of energy systems. Before joining the EWI, Maximilian Walde worked for two years as a consultant at E.ON Inhouse Consulting GmbH and studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in energy technology at RWTH Aachen University and Tsinghua University (China).
