Since 2023, Maximilian Walde is a Research Associate at EWI and a doctoral candidate at the University of Cologne. His research focuses on the modelling of energy systems. Before joining the EWI, Maximilian Walde worked as a consultant at E.ON Inhouse Consulting GmbH for two years and studied mechanical engineering with a specialisation in energy technology at RWTH Aachen University and Tsinghua University (China).
