The “Data basis for the H2 balance 2022” considers the areas of supply, demand, infrastructure, and cost development in the hydrogen market ramp-up in Germany. The data is based on scientific research, EWI’s own Power-to-X project database and own calculations. The data basis for the H2 balance provides a snapshot of the current situation of the hydrogen ramp-up and at the same time gives insights into future developments. The development of the data basis was carried out on behalf of E.ON and is updated regularly.
