Dr. Philip Schnaars is Head of Research Area at EWI. Prior to joining EWI, he studied Economics with a focus on empirical analysis at the University of Hamburg. He took a position as Research Associate at the faculty at this university to write a dissertation about different issues that arise from the expansion of renewable capacity in Germany.
